Module Description

In this module, participants will explore how effective questioning and no opt out strategies in order to provide students with a rich opportunity to think, share, and respond to others. Participants will learn through key readings, observe this skill in action, practice it with their students, receive feedback from a coach, evaluate their practice and reflect on next steps.

Practice in the Classroom:

Create: Plan a lesson or series of lessons where you intentionally incorporate purposeful and effective questioning. Teach the lesson and then share your insights. You will not need to turn anything in.

Have a coach come in to observe and provide you with feedback. Email your building coach with a date and time to come in to see you implement purposeful student talk with your students.
