Module Description
In this module, participants will understand the research behind and the impact of student self-assessment. Participants will learn how to teach students to accurately self-assess and implement plans for student self-assessment with quick assessment ideas, response tasks, and using a quiz, test, or rubric. Participants will learn through key readings, practice self-assessment with their students, receive feedback from a coach, and evaluate their practice and reflect on next steps.

Read & Watch: As you read the chapter on Student Self Assessment and watch the video, consider how you will incorporate student self assessment into lessons and units.
